Sarah and Todd

Todd and Sarah Prather come to the Ojai Garden drawn by the unique Californian climate of our isolated little valley. Sarah grew up in the best of the Ventura Garden with a family background in the local citrus agriculture and a backyard full of every exotic plant, tree and bush that could possibly grow in the area. There are, in fact, several trans-plants in the Prather Ojai Garden from her family's McConica Ventura Garden.

Todd comes from a family background in landscaping construction. His dad's business, Jim Prather's Landscape, is responsible for a good part of the green grass, swaying palm trees and lush flora of the greater San Bernardino County parks, schools, homes, shopping centers, road dividers and other common grounds. Todd was raised with a yard of widely diverse vegetation as well albeit from a dryer, hotter climate that is more similar to Ojai than Ventura. This climate is another draw for the Ojai Garden residents of 3+ years. Perhaps you will see from the couple's postings whose influence is whose throughout their lush little spot in the Ojai Garden paradise.
