This Western Redbud (Cercis occidentalis) was donated to the City of Ojai Community Demonstration Garden by the Ventura County Garden Club. redBudWeb1.jpg

The redbud was placed in an area that features California native plants that can be used as part of a firesafe landscape. This drought-tolerant native tree will help control erosion, and its beautiful pink flowers will provide necter for butterflies.redBudWeb3.jpg Members of the Ventura County Garden Club will tour the garden next month.
