The Ojai Garden

Evening Primrose (Oenothera Biennis) provides nourishment for hummingbirds, moths, bees.... and even people! All parts of the plant are edible. The plant is also used medicinally. Evening Primrose's fragrant flowers open in the evening. The tall plants self sow readily in the City of Ojai Community Demonstration Garden. Photos by Les Dublin.
