reporting today from farming country, roof of Japan ...
snow still on the mountain tops.
rice fields everywhere, apple orchards, watermelon fields, family gardens, farmer's co-ops, farmer's markets.
organic farming, and permaculture, is not much practiced here, but will report on the progress I find.
