Lunchtime
This little fellow was seen yesterday, busily demonstrating how our California native Hummingbird Sage (Salvia spathacea) got its name. 
Early in the fall, when the hummingbird sage has gone to seed, he will return to the City of Ojai Community Demonstration Garden, to enjoy the red california fuschia flowers (Zauschneria californica a.k.a. Epilobium californica) that will appear on the plant in the background.
