Catalina Cherry
It's Catalina Cherry (prunus lyonii) season in the City of Ojai Community Demonstration Garden, and the birds and squirrels are eating their fill.
This beautiful, drought- tolerant native tree blooms in the spring.

That photo above might be a coffee berry shrub. They're even less common than Catalina cherry.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for noticing that. You are right, as usual! The top picture is a coffee berry. I will correct it ASAP. We have 2 varieties of coffee berry shrubs in the garden.
