Lavender Festival Time
The City of Ojai Community Demonstration Garden is a great place to visit to see what different types of lavender would look like growing in your yard, and it's only natural that we show off our lavender at this time of year. To help celebrate fragrant, drought-tolerant lavender, the garden is offering free tours on Saturday, June 28th, during the Fifth Annual Ojai Lavender Festival.
White English Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia 'Alba') is one variety displayed in a multi-hued lavender garden that is all abuzz.
You can catch a tour this Saturday at 11:00, 1:00 or 3:00 in the garden at 401 South Ventura Street, just about 2 blocks from Libby Park.
