Mighty Oaks From Tiny Acorns
Tiny Valley Oak seedlings (quercus lobata) were planted in the City of Ojai Community Demonstration Garden today.
The oaks were donated by Mrs. Brown's 4th grade class at the Topa Topa School, who planted the acorns last fall.
Later this spring, the class will come to the Demo Garden to learn about composting, organic gardening and, of course, plants that are suitable for planting under oaks.
