happy Chinese New Year, all!
spent the last few days almost entirely
in the garden ... got most of our old garden
moved to the new land ...
and a garden-party yesterday, a 'garden-raising'!
first time in my life, that I can recall,
after more than a hundred gardens created,
that we have tomatoes on the vine in February,
and spinach and mustard and onions and garlic
ready to pick ... and cucumber plants a
foot long ...

if we have sacred water and land, we can
even find some positive aspects to a winter
with the highest global temperature on record.
witnessing the returning of all our relations,
guided by the song of our oldest ancestors,
in the Year 2007 of HER re-awakening ...
