The Ojai Garden

I cannot say enough about the Lavender Inn. I took my mom there because she needed to be lifted up after losing her husband. And this was absolutely the best place for her. The staff were kind and gentle, and treated us like queens. The breakfasts were fresh and simply delicious, fresh squeezed orange juice, great bread, delicious eggs, potato pancakes, granola and yogurt, wonderful locally roasted coffee...and more. The wine and cheese served in the evenings were the perfect end of a warm, peaceful and delicious day on the grounds...and a perfect start to an evening surrounded by pink mountains and golden light on grounds that are just a wonderful place to sip and nosh as the sun drops behind the trees. The back "porch", and outside dining and resting venue is a place you just do not want to leave. And the rooms each have their own personality. Impeccable decor with a classic comfort.
