This is an amazing plant. Always has these blooms going year around. It is from the Australian Native Plants Nursery in Casitas Srpings and seems to thrive quite nicely in Ojai. Gravelia(?):

We have formed Community Based Organization DALA RIEKO - a meeting place for sharing of knowledge and good practice - at Lake Victoria, Kenya.
We have planted gravelia on our small farm - for learning and production.
Agroforestry people talk well about the tree and we are ready to work hard on planting many in Asembo.

Actual spelling, so you can look up other species in the genus: grevillea.
